EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals missed another chance to get a statement win.A road game on Monday night against a winning team was an opportunity for the Bengals to reach .500 for the season. The Bengals faltered in the fourth quarter, though, and lost to the Giants 21-20 to fall to 3-5-1.Cincinnati dropped to 11-23 on Monday night, including 4-7 under coach Marvin Lewis. The Bengals havent won a road game on Monday night since the 1990 season, also the last season the team won a playoff game. The defeat also continued the Bengals struggles against some of the NFLs top teams in 2016. They also have lost to Dallas, Denver, New England and Pittsburgh.Weve got to find a way to flip the switch and get these games turned into wins rather than a tie in London and a one-point loss here tonight, Dalton said.Weve got to take a good, hard look at what were doing and correct the things that are hurting us.Penalties, an inconsistent offense and an inability to contain Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. combined to doom the Bengals.Dalton was 16 of 29 for 204 yards with a touchdown pass to A.J. Green and an interception. The Bengals finished with only 12 first downs and 264 yards. The defense, which entered ranked 25th in the league, allowed 351 yards, and the Bengals were penalized nine times for 60 yards. With his team trailing 21-20 early in the fourth quarter, Dalton was intercepted by Landon Collins. George Iloka intercepted Manning on the next play, but the Bengals were unable to take advantage as they failed to get a first down. The Bengals were forced to punt on their next two drives as the Giants sacked Dalton twice. The fourth-quarter struggles overshadowed a strong start to the second half. The Bengals used Alex Ericksons 84-yard second-half kickoff return to set up the go-ahead score. Jeremy Hill had a 9-yard TD run and Cincinnati later added Mike Nugents 38-yard field goal for a 20-14 lead in the third quarter. But the defense couldnt hold the lead as the Giants went for it on fourth-and-goal from the 3 and scored on Mannings third TD pass of the game early in the fourth to retake the lead at 21-20.Late in the second quarter, the Bengals missed an opportunity when they only mustered a field goal after Dre Kirkpatricks interception gave them the ball at the 7. They were held to a 25-yard field goal by Nugent for a short-lived 10-7 lead.We have opportunities on offense to put more points on the board and we end up having to kick field goals and that ended up probably being the difference in the football game, Lewis said.Manning then led a drive that ended with a touchdown pass to Beckham for a 14-10 lead at halftime. With no team in control of the AFC North, the Bengals fell further behind in their hope to reach the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. They host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Were trying to figure out what we need to do to have these outcomes be different, and theres not one explanation for it, Dalton said.---For more NFL coverage: http://www.pro32.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Leonard Fournette Youth Jersey. -- Bobby Ryan helped the U. On Mar. 16, coming off a "fight of the year" performance at UFC 154 the previous November, St-Pierre faced Nick Diaz at UFC 158 in what would be his eighth defence of the welterweight title. Using his superior athleticism, St-Pierre cruised to a five round, unanimous decision victory setting up a much-anticipated title defence against number one contender Johny Hendricks. Its not often Maryland can say it has something in common with Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska.Like those standard bearers of college football, the Terrapins are still unbeaten this season. Since Marylands 7-0 start in 2001, the Terrapins have taken a perfect record into their fifth game only in 2013 and this season. No one is pulling harder for first-year coach DJ Durkin -- at least until their teams meet Nov. 5 -- than Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh. Durkin was a Harbaugh assistant for three years at Stanford and was his defensive coordinator with the Wolverines last season.Harbaugh said Tuesday hes been following the Terps progress and has watched three of their games. He said hes spoken with Durkin a couple times since the season started, usually on matters only coaches would find interesting.Hes busy doing his duties and Im busy doing mine, Harbaugh said, but were watching with a lot of pride what hes doing and very proud of the job hes doing.Maryland, which puts its 4-0 record on the line this week at Penn State, already has one more win than it had all of last season. Two more wins will make the Terps bowl eligible. Their 173 points are a program record for four games, and their 50-7 win over Purdue last week was their most lopsided conference victory since 2010.The biggest difference from 2015 to 2016?The Terps have turned over the ball twice. Last year at this point they had 14 turnovers, including 12 interceptions.Durkin said he addressed the turnover issue the first day he met with the team. Its just been a process of talking about it, teaching our players just how the game works and how a turnover can really kill you -- how a punt is not a bad play, he said. Taking a sack or throwing it away isnt all bad if you go punt and play good defense. You may have been won yourself some field position.Marylands schedule gets increasingly tougher, with November featuring road games against Michigan and Nebraska and a home game against Ohio State.Other notes from the Big Ten coaches teleconference:HEALING HUSKERSNebraaska coach Mike Riley, whose team has a bye this week, said receiver Jordan Westerkamp (back) and tight end Cethan Carter (elbow) probably will miss the Oct.dddddddddddd 15 game at Indiana.Running back Devine Ozigbo probably wont practice this week as he recovers from an ankle sprain. Riley said hes hopeful offensive lineman Tanner Farmer and receiver Alonzo Moore will be back from injuries that kept them out of the Illinois game.BARRETTS FAST ASCENTWith four touchdown passes against Rutgers, Ohio States J.T. Barrett became the schools all-time leader with 59. Barrett also has 84 TDs responsible for and needs five more passing or rushing touchdowns to break Braxton Millers record of 88.Barrett, a junior, has played in 27 games and started 21.This is only his second year, maybe 2 + years, of full-time starting, Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer said. He would be the first to tell you hes been very fortunate to be around very good players and a very offensive line that protects him and guys that make plays. When you think of the history of this great university, and he could be No. 1, thats incredible.LAGOWS COMPOSUREIndiana coach Kevin Wilson was heartened by quarterback Richard Lagows bounce-back from his five-interception game against Wake Forest. The Big Tens passing yardage leader was picked off once against Michigan State but led touchdown drives on the Hoosiers last three series in regulation in a 24-21 overtime victory. He lost his composure in the fourth quarter (against Wake Forest), and that hurt us with his body language. You cant be a leader if you cant lead yourself, Wilson said. He got into a competitive game and got in a similar situation and got it corrected against a very challenging team in Michigan State. What I saw last week was a guy who got into position where he could have lost his composure and he kept it.--Online:AP college football website: http://collegefootball.ap.org Wholesale Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Authentic Jerseys From China Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys ' ' '
